How do I make Heretic II compatible for Windows 10?

I recently bought my father Heretic II for his laptop as we used to play it together when I was younger. When I go to install the game the H2_Setup app comes up with the message 'This App wont work on your pc'. I've tried entering the setup folder and using the SETUP app in that file. It asks permission for this app to change features on my laptop but after I authorize it, nothing further happens. I have also explored the bin file and used the demo32 app which through that allows me to use the H2_Setup.dbd this takes me to the games starting menu where it has a button to install Heretic II. I click that and it disappears and a sign pops up saying created using demoshield and the mouse has the loading circle for a few seconds then nothing further comes from that. I ran the troubleshooter for compatibility a few times changing the version all the way from Windows 95 to Windows 10. nothing. Is there anyone who knows how to fix this or is it just not possible with this version of Windows?

    Install the game is a problem for modern computers. There is a way around it though...

    Installing Heretic II CD Version  for all Versions of Windows.

    If you have the Heretic II CD Version then just follow the instructions below.

    1. place your original Heretic II cd in your drive;
    2. when auto-run opens, close it;
    3. explore the folder "bin" on the cd and run Demo32.exe;
    4. It will ask for a file to open, select bin/H2_Setup.dbd;
    5. continue installation as normal.

    Installing on Windows XP, Vista, Windows 7, and Windows 10.

    Apparently an the installation problem arises on 64-bit versions of Windows 7 and Windows 10.

    1. Run the "Heretic II Enhancement Pack v1.06 (14.1 MB)  which can be found Google the internet.
    2. install the "win2kserverfix" download link below:

    1. * To play the game use Compatibility Mode: Windows XP Service Pack 2, 8-bit 256 colors if you are experiencing problems or "run the compatability troubleshooter.

    * Allow the game through your firewall.
