Lumia 635 upgrade to Windows 10

Hi,

I purchased my Lumia 635 a couple of weeks ago and I have attempted to upgrade from W8.1 to W10. The Windows 10 Upgrade Advisor reports :-

"Your phone is not supported for the upgrade to Windows 10"

This model however appears on the list of supported devices.

Please tell me how I can upgrade to W10?

    Hi,

    There could be an issue with the Upgrade Advisor app. The Lumia 635 1GB supports the Windows 10. We advise you uninstall the Upgrade Advisor app, then perform a soft reset to refresh the phone's software. To soft reset, just press and hold the power and volume down buttons at the same time until your phone restarts.

    Once the phone is up and running, download and install the Upgrade Advisor app, then try to upgrade the phone's software to Windows 10 again.

    The Lumia 635 1GB RAM is supported, the Lumia 635 512MB RAM is not. Which one do you have ?

    You can check under settings > extras & info.

    1. Please, remove the battery cover and post your 7-letter (Product) Code (starts with 059).
    2. Did you go for the Recovery Tool already?
    3. Instead, did you try ‘All apps » Store » Search » Windows Insider » Get started » Release Preview’ already?
