WP 8 on Samsung Ativ S GT-I8750, how to upgrade it.

Hello,

I have an Ativ s, with WP8 OS installed. I read that the upgrade to WP8.1 is available for this device, but I cant reach it. When I go to Settings menu>Phone Update>Search for updates, he told me that the WP is up to date. My location is Bulgaria (BG), East Europe - is that may be the reason? Please give me some options to try to update this phone, because I like it so much, but most of the apps don't support WP8. And finally - is there a some chance to upgrade it to Win 10 in future?

I'm happy now, and wait for Win10 :-)

You can stop waiting, that will never happen the phone is not supported for upgrading and running windows 10 mobile.

There is a light in the tunnel, and it's not a coming train :-) After change of CSC code of my Ativ S, finally I received the update to WP 8.1 If this will be helpful for somebody, ill write the way I do it. Current version of my OS is 8.10.14157.200 I received a firmware actualization too. Its very simple way, but needs "hard reset" of device after changing of CSC. Not a big deal at all.

I'm happy now, and wait for Win10 :-)

I'm sure that they support it to 8.1, because I read a lot of users post. They are received their updates for Ativ S already. That are users from Austria, UK, and all around the world.

I don't know for sure if 8.1 is supported on Samsung phones. It could be that the samsungs are not supported for upgrading to windows phone 8.1

They are for sure not supported for upgrading to windows 10 mobile. That will never happen.
