After latest update my cellular option has disappeared from my HP 820 G3.   My mobile broad band appears in my device manager and network connections, but it does not show up in my settings or as an option to connect to.  I have confirmed that my sim card is still active with ATT and have uninstalled and reinstalled broad band drivers and wifi drivers.  I have tried to re-enable and disable and renable my cellular connection to no avail it just takes me back to the setings were only wifi Ethernet etc are appearing and no cellular option.  Please assist?

This worked before the update.  No password is required.  The cellular toggle missing completely has nothing to do with Credentials.  After a Bios update the toggle button reappeared and is now working correctly.  Thank you for trying.

Trying to connect via ATT sim card that was set up and configured.

Set up by company and worked in the past

    inserted in LAPTOP.

Now cellular option no longer even shows.  However device manager shows my broadband driver, and my network adapter options shows cellular.  However when i try to connect it takes me to network settings and no cellular options show under network and internet.

Since you mentioned that your computer was set up by your company, we suggest that you get the correct credentials for you to be able to connect to your company's domain/server through your Internet Service Provider. In the event that they've provided you with the right credentials, this is so we can refer you to the right forum to address further your concern, we would like to know what Windows Server is your computer connecting to?

    Looking forward to your response.

    Hi Conan,

Device configuration changes after the update is one of the possible reasons why you're having challenges with connecting to network. To better assist you, we need the answers to the following questions:

    • How are you trying to connect your laptop to a broadband internet connection?
    • Would you please elaborate on how the connection was set up?
    • Is the sim card inserted to a cellphone or your laptop?
