How to change mouse wheel as next/prev in Windows Photo Viewer?

Hello!

Is there a way make mouse wheel so it change between pictures in WPV instead of zoom?

By default if mouse has 5 buttons, the 4th and 5th buttons jump to prev/next image.

Hi vanowm,

The mouse wheel generally functions as Zoom feature in the Windows Photo Viewer. Unfortunately there is no option to change the default setting of the mouse wheel to Next/Previous in the Windows Photo Viewer.

You might look for some third party tools to see if there is any option to do so.

    In the start menu, go to Photos, click on the three dots in the upper right corner, click on Settings in the drop menu, scroll down to the "Viewing and Editing" section and there are options for the mouse wheel. Click the "View next or previous item" button or the "Zoom in and out" button.

    That answer is wrong. Mouse wheel can be set as next/prev selection for Photos viewer (that was the default setting on my machine when I installed Windows 10).

    Any idea why answers to this question are sorted from oldest to newest.

    And why the oldest answer the first shown is still listed even though it is incorrect?
