    Hi Freddy,

    You can update Windows photo viewer through your Windows update feature. Follow the steps below on how to update your Windows photo viewer:

    1. On your keyboard, press the Windows ![](https://learn-attachment.microsoft.com/api/attachments/b654346c-d8b1-4993-a303-986d00d7fbeb?platform=QnA) key.
    2. Type Update then press Enter.
    3. At the top of the window that displays on the screen, click on the Windows update icon.
    4. On the Software menu, click on the Check for updates icon. (Windows will now look for any updates)
    5. There will be a small box next to the Photo Viewer icon, check it. Then at the bottom part of the page, click the Install Updates icon.
    6. Updates will now start to install, wait until it's finished. After that, a window will appear, click Restart.
    7. Your computer will restart automatically, allow it to finish the process.
