    Hi raneedrexler,

We need more information about the problem you are facing.

    ·        What is the exact error message you get?

    ·        Were you able to successfully install McAfee?

    ·        Does the McAfee status say “Protected”?

**Step 1:**You may check if the Security Center service is working fine.

    a.       Click on the Startbutton, type "services.msc"(without quotes) in the search bar and press "Enter".

    b.      Right click on “Security Center" and select Properties.

    c.       Select Automatic in Startup Type.

    d.      Click on Start button. (You may stop and start the service if it is already started).

    e.       After restarting the Service successfully, please test the issue again.

**Step 2:**Check to see if the system date and time is set correct.

    Set the clock

Please reply back with more information so we can help you in a better way.

    Regards,

    Syed N – Microsoft Support
