malware/spyware pop up error 2

keep getting a pop up that I have a virus error 2 from Microsoft.  I know this is scam I did not call number.  I installed Malewarebytes and I am still getting this annoying pop up.  What can I do to get rid of it?

    It's a scam. It's NOT from Microsoft.

    Can you possibly get a screenshot of the scam just so we actually have an idea of what it looks like. Let us know.

    1. Press Ctrl+Alt+Delete
    2. Click Task Manager
    3. See your browser? Click it.
    4. Press end task at right corner bottom.

    Make note of that websites you are at when you see this and stay away from them.

    It's a common scam. Click the X to close the window. You should then see a box at the bottom, Do not allow this site to create new messages. Check it and then close that window and finally the popup.

    For all other browsers, use the Task Manager to exit the browser. Reboot and see if the pop-up goes away.
