Microsoft Authenticator App, too many invalid codes have been entered

When creating app package in Visual Studio 2013, I use MS Authenticator app for verification (on Lumia 1520, WP 8.1), when I enter the given code from the Authenticator, I get an error message:

Too many invalids codes have been entered. Please try again later.

Has anyone get this issue and discovered a solution?

    Hi Leonard,

Regarding the issue you had with our Microsoft Authenticator app that doesn't accept the codes that you entered, we suggest that you turn off any existing apps for the mean time.

Once you have turned them off, follow these steps:

    1. Disassociate your Microsoft account from your Authenticator app.
    2. After that, log on to https://account.live.com/proofs/Manage
    3. Click "Set up identity verification app'.
    4. Add you Microsoft account again.

Let us know how it goes.
