Is anyone else having trouble launching the Secret Society game? Zendesk is not responding to emails. This is a g5e game. Is there trouble with any other g5 games?

    Hi Harry,

A corrupted profile data associated with the game and an outdated version of the game are two possible factors that we have to take into consideration when troubleshooting issues with launching a game on Windows 10. Here are the troubleshooting solutions that you may perform to resolve this concern:

    Solution 1: Run troubleshooter

The Windows apps troubleshooter can help resolve issues with apps and games downloaded from the Windows Store. In addition, we also suggest running the Program Compatibility Troubleshooter to help diagnose and resolve compatibility issues encountered when running games on Windows 10. Refer to the following links for the steps:

Solution 2: Check for game updates

If you've downloaded the game from the Windows Store, you may manually search if there are updates available for the game. Refer to Check for updates for apps and games from Windows Store for the steps.

    Solution 3: Delete Temporary files

Temporary files are automatically deleted after exiting an application or a game. However, restarting your computer without exiting an active Windows session won't delete temporary files. These files may cause issues running games on Windows 10. To resolve this, we suggest that you perform the following steps on how to remove temporary files:

    1. Click Start and click Settings.
    2. Select System.
    3. Select Storage.
    4. Select This PC.
    5. Click Temporary files.
    6. Choose Temporary files.
    7. Click Remove files.
    8. Restart your device so that the changes can take effect. Launch the game and check if the same issue occurs.

Notify us with the progress. We'd be glad to further assist you.

Sorry you are still having the issue. Trust me, I know how you feel. My issue was on my PC which I'm told is different than using it from the XBOX tile. The only suggestion I have left is to Check for updates for apps and games from Windows Store. If that doesn't work stay on the support teams from Microsoft, G5, which is a third party game and your device manufacturer for help. It took me about a week before some one to take ownership of the problem.

My situation with Secret Society - Hidden Mystery is a bit different than others. My story: I always open the game (that I downloaded from the Windows Store) by clicking on a Windows tile. It normally just opens with one click, no sign in to the game itself or anything. Now, I click on the tile and it just flashes a blue line, for a split second, at the bottom of my toolbar. Nothing else.

Thank you so much for trying to help me, though. I tried all of the things you suggested, but nothing seems to help. I even called Microsoft yesterday and let a tech take over my computer to fix it. No luck there either. When I go to the Windows Store, I can see there is a large update that always stops right at the end of downloading. I receive a pop up screen that states "Something unexpected happened" and at the bottom is this Error Code: 0x80070003.

I've tried researching a fix for the error, but have gotten nowhere. If anyone has any new suggestions, I'd be ever so grateful. I've been playing this game for at least a year and would hate to lose all I've accomplished. Thank you.

PS  The game's maker G5 Entertainment has what is called Zendesk for problems. It is a joke! I've never gotten a reply from them, recently or in the past.

The problem was resolved with troubleshooting instructions from Microsoft. My issue involved PC resolution. Below is what resolved my issue. As of the pass few days I could not sent gifts to my friends, could not connect to server. As of today the connection is back but running slow. I ran the troubleshooter again to clean up any residue. Read instructions below:

I'm having the same problem. The game won't launch at all. This problem started last night, 8/17/17.
