Just to verify, when you say "hook ", does that mean connecting the router from the wall outlets to the modem? If yes, checking the manual that came with the router may help. This manual should contain set of instructions and pictures for you to easily hook the router. It would also be best to contact the router manufacturer for further support, as it may need some configurations to work properly.

Feel free to send us your feedback at your convenience.

    Hi Mikel,

A router may not work due to several reasons. This may include a loose connection or overheating. Answering the following questions may help us in properly identifying the cause of the issue:

    1. Have you tried rebooting your router?
    2. Have you tried checking your router's temperature?
    3. Have you checked if the wires are tightly connected?
    4. When you say it is not working, does that mean it is not showing as an available network?

    Regards.
