Okay, So I Have Some Old PC Games I've Been Collecting, And They Don't Run :C. After Some Research And Troubleshooting I Found Out That I Need These DRM Things To Play These Games. Because Windows 10 Removed secdrv.sys I Cannot Play Them...

I Do Have A Copy Of It Which Was Bundled With SimCity 3000

Any Help Would Be Appreciated...

Add legacy support through control panel, programs and features, turn windows  features on or off (left  of top), scroll to legacy options, click to enable, windows will add these features; recommend to reboot the pc.

I do not use any disk based games anymore but some steam, origin and uplay games still use it and have had no issues this safedisc or secure room games running from these platforms.

This could be an issues as some games where not made for higher resolution displays, 680x480  as example.

Windows 10 does not like anything smaller or larger the the default monitor display settings are set at.

Set  the games exe to run for an older os, win8,7,vista or xp, high dpi scaling to off.

If you still have issues run the compatibility checker from the exe , it will try to run the game, if the 1st one

works great, if not you may have to go through all the test options.

From what OS are the cd rom games made to run on ??

I Ran Through All Those Steps... None Worked :C. They Were Designed For XP, But I Have Games Of A Similar Age That Run Fine...

I Was Also Looking Into Reinstalling The Secdrv.sys File For A More Robust Solution...

Any More Ideas About How To Fix This?

Another thing is the OS may be blocking installation of some of the files needed because they could corrupt the system folder.

Say older directx or video or sound drivers.

Some games need to have nvidia's legacy physx

driver to run, even when using intel or amd gpu's

Thanks For That. It Has Enabled Me To Play One Of My Games (The DVD-ROM Game Actually...) But I Have Two CD-ROMs That Still Don't Load The Game. They Install Fine, Just Don't Load...

    Any Other Ideas?
