My screen is frozen with a fraudulent message from someone posing as Windows Security with an alert that I am infected with a Trojan virus and need to call them for help./ I cannot get rid of the screen, have shut down the computer twice and it remains. Can you advise how to get rid of this screen?

    It's a common scam. Click the X to close the window. You should then see a box at the bottom, Do not allow this site to create new messages. Check it and then close that window and finally the popup.

    For all other browsers, use the Task Manager to exit the browser. Reboot and see if the pop-up goes away.
