As what we've stated before, enabling the other CPU core of your computer won't cause any issues at all. Meaning, it won't cause any crashes.

I have a Windows 7 with Intel 2 Dual Core and performance for my computer has been pretty droopy lately. However, I noticed that my computer only boots with one processor, and uses one processor. I just wanted to know what would happen if I used both of my processors to boot and use. Would it increase computer performance or cause a huge breakdown on my computer? I would like to know some answers.
Regards, Caden.

Hi,
Enabling the other core of your computer's CPU won't cause any breakdown. Hence, it will improve the performance of your computer. By default, 1 CPU core is only used by the computer for simple programs and other processes. The system itself will utilize the other CPU core if a program or an application requires an additional core or multiple core for faster processing.
Regards.
So 2 CPU cores would enhance my performance in programs? But would it crash my computer often?
