Hi WM, some users have reported problems getting both devices to work on Windows 10

That mouse should work with the Microsoft Mouse and Keyboard.
Also settings available Start - Settings - Devices - Mouse - Additional mouse settings.
Be sure the mouse is clean and it has good batteries - also clean the receiver.
