So, The Windows 10 Fall Creators Update was released today and i downloaded the ISO from the official Microsoft Windows site.

In order to install the update on my New Acer Predator Helios 300 Laptop, Running Windows 10 Anniversary Update,

I made a bootable to a USB Drive and Ran the Setup.exe to upgrade. All went well until 53% where the 1st restart came up.

It restarted and came to the light blue upgrading windows screen and not long after it restarted again and showed a screen showing recovering previous version of windows and boots back to windows with an error;

        We Couldn't Install Windows

        0x80070570 - 0x2000c

        The installation failed in the SAFE_OS phase with an error during APPLY_IMAGE operation

Screenshot Of Error Below

EDIT: I tried it on 2 other devices that are supported and still get the error,

Also tried to do a clean installation on boot gives up another error, doesnt even start the setup.

Maybe the DIsc image is damaged. Can someone please give me SHA-1 Values fot the****Win10_1709_EnglishInternational_x64

Thanks For Any Help

    Answer :

    Turns out the download ISO was corrupted due to an unknown reason.

    Downloading it again using Windows 10 Media creation tool as an ISO and upgrading worked, even though my device was not in the supported list.

    You might want to check to make sure your Acer is listed as supported, even though its brand new, Microsoft is phasing in support:

    Check this List to Determine if Your Computer is Compatible with the Windows 10 Fall Creators Update

    Also perform the following tasks before attempting to upgrade:

    Thanks, ive never heard of compatibility on Windows, i've never upgraded any of my devices, i've been doing clean installs for all mu devices, maybe a clean install would work.

    Edit : Even though my deivce wasnt in the compatible list, it worked through a fresh download.
