Hello Char, I’mm Be answering your question.

There are two ways - one is via Ctrl + print screen button which copies the entire screen to the clipboard, then you can paste into paint or your choice of photo software, then there’s the snipping tool which will capture all or part of the screen, then save the capture & it may ask where you wish to save it to.

To open Snipping Tool, select the Start button, type snipping tool, and then select it in the search results.

To choose the type of snip you want, select Mode (or, in older versions of Windows, the arrow next to New), and then choose Free-form, Rectangular, Window, or Full-screen Snip. When making free-form or rectangular snips, use your mouse to select the area that you want to capture.

To take a new screenshot using the same mode you used last, select New.

Use the Save and Copy buttons at the top of the snip to save or copy it to the clipboard.

The handiest way is with the snipping tool . . .

Click your start button, type snipping and hit enter

This will open the snipping tool

In that tool click 'Mode' and you can choose 'Full Screen', rectangle . . . etc.

Then you can save that as an image file and send it to the support team you are working with!

How are you communicating with Microsoft? Could you tell us how Microsoft support is contacting you? Becareful of scammers and persons that might be trying to steal your information.

Microsoft support should never ask for personal information or money to help you with a problem.

We don't know how you communicating with them, is it on the forums here or by email?

If its on the forums here, see how to post a screenshot:
