We are volunteers willing to help you try to resolve this issue.

Support for a Printer/Scanner comes directly from its hardware maker and the producer of the drivers, Windows is really just the shell.

The ScanJet 5370C is not Windows 8/8.1 or 10 compliant so you will need to work with HP Support and Forums. Possibly there is a 3rd party solution such as VueScan however those are not free. BTW this product was also not supported on Windows 7.

Hello MartiLouiSa, HP states that scanner is not supported under Windows 10 but you could try this:

    HP Scan Extended

    ftp://ftp.hp.com/pub/scanners/HPScanExt/HPScanE...

Once it's downloaded and installed, go to Start > All Programs > HP > HP Scan Extended > Run "HP Scan Extended"

Note that this may not work for every printer.

You could also try running the setup using compatibility mode. Right click on the program's shortcut, .exe file, or installation file.

    Click on Properties.

    Click on the Compatibility tab.

Check the Run this program in compatibility mode for box & choose the Windows version with which the software previously worked.

    I hope this helps.
