FSX PRODUCT KEY NO WORKING ANYMORE ON MY NEW COMPUTER

Hello Dear

Good day

I have had installed my FSX gold edition for about 4 years in my computer.

I have installed about 3 times my FSX in my computer this year.

it happens to be that i bought a new mother board , Ram Cards and processor and now the key code doesnt work with my new computer ,

What should i do since there is a notification that says i have used the product key code too many times and it was blocked .

What should i do about this ? is there any way i can keep using my FSX Original product key code,my fsx is not a copy, it is Original.

Please i would appreciate if somebody could help me to solve this problem.

    I'm not sure how your problem was solved, Ricardo;  was it that Microsoft removed the restriction on your re-activation?  And now you are not able to fly for more than 15-30 minutes?

    If this is the case, then you can try the following, provided that MS have removed the restriction for re-activation:

    1. Close FSX and run Registry Editor (press Windows key + R and type   regedit    and     Ok)
    2. Expand the following registry key, but be careful when doing this as any wrong or deleted entry could cause other problems to your computer.   Back up the Registry, if you are uncertain.   Expand this Registry Key:         

    HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Control\Class{4d36e967-e325-11ce-bfc1-08002be10318}      

    1. After you find the folder, double-click Upperfilters on the right side.
    2. Change the value from 0 (and delete any other word there) and type   PartMgr  (note, this is case sensitive;  type it exactly as shown here) and click OK.

    5. Close Registry Editor and reboot Computer.

    1. Start FSX and check whether the Activation box comes up.

    Let us know how you get on with this.

     Someone helped me  i dont even know what he didi but replaced some files and that was it , thanks anyway for your support

    Thanks Chris for your help and advise, i alredy solved the problem . I changed the mother board the Ram cards and the processor and that is a new computer and automatically the product key was rejected ,that was the problem i called microsft customer sevice and they very kindly helped me , now when i try to fly after installed Acceleration diskette, i just can fly as demo it shows the folling message:

    Error code 1-80005004

    i can fly just for 15 minutes as demo and then it goes off automatically. the demo time has expired,activate your FSX.

    i dont know what to do .

    i already sent you that explanation in micrsoft community.

    There seems to be a limit on the number of times you can activate FSX within a quarter.   MS have published the following;  Issue No. 2 seems to apply in your case:

    Those with this problem (with FSX) usually have to wait three months to try activating the Sim again.

    If you can't wait that long and don't mind switching Sims, then FSX-Steam Edition is an updated version of FSX Deluxe with Acceleration pack and needs no activation, except for initial activation in your Steam account.  They have it at Special prices from time to time.
