Upgrading from Windows 7 to Windows 10 on my Toshiba L755-1MU

I have recently fixed a laptop of mine from 5 years ago and it has windows 7 which is fine but I was wondering if I can upgrade to Windows 10 and what effects that might have on my system.

As far as moving to Windows 10 is concerned, Toshiba does not have any Windows 10 drivers for my laptop.  Does this mean that I will experience problem when I upgrade? How can I determine if It's possible that my Toshiba Satellite L755-1MU will work with windows 10?

I've seen that it is still possible to obtain a free copy of windows 10. I am actually dyslexia and use assistive technologies for work.

    sadly it does not look like my laptop is on that supported list

    Have you checked the manufacturers website to determine compatibility?

    If the Windows 10 Upgrade Assistant becomes stuck or unresponsive at various percentages: 0%, 32%, 62%, 87%, 99%, please wait at least 4 to 7 hours. If you are updating through Windows Update, when the download reaches 99% disconnect from the Internet LAN (Ethernet) or Wi-Fi then proceed with the installation.

    If setup does not progress, close the wizard then restart your computer. Follow the instructions to upgrade manually using the Media Creation Tool or the Windows 10 ISO file.
