Hi,

After installing the latest update from MS, the app store and edge are not connecting to the internet at all. All apps have an internet connection except these two. What should I do? Please, help!

We understand that you need to use Microsoft Edge and Windows Store. There may be an issue with your current user profile that is why Microsoft Edge and Windows Store can't connect to the Internet. We recommend that you create a new administrator account to see if those two apps will work properly on the new account.

    Hi Javier,

There may be an issue with the settings or files of Windows Store and Microsoft Edge that is why they cannot connect to the Internet. If you currently have the version 1709 (Fall Creators Update) of Windows 10, you can use the repair app tool to resolve the issue. To run the tool, follow these steps:

    1. Click the Windows logo (Start button).
    2. Click the gear icon (Settings).
    3. Select Apps.
    4. On the left pane, choose Apps & features.
    5. Look for the Windows Store app, and then select it.
    6. Click Advanced options.
    7. You can choose either "Repair" or "Reset". Choose Repair.
    8. Do the same steps to Microsoft Edge.
    9. Access Windows Store and Microsoft Edge to see if they will connect to the Internet.
    10. If the issue persists, we recommend that you use the reset tool. This will clear the data of the apps. You can follow the same steps again but instead of choosing "Repair", choose Reset.

Let us know how it goes.

    Hi Argel,

Thank you for your time and reply. Unfortunately, I had already tried the repair and reset tool with no results. I even uninstalled recent windows updates and nothing works. Still, I cannot use edge or the store. This is really annoying...
