I set AGC on for an attached USB microphone and save setting.  I return to AGC to verify it is enabled.  When I check later, I sometimes find that the 'on' setting has been spontaneously disabled. This requires me to check the setting prior to every use of the microphone. I have found it to get disabled even during a continuous use session.  How to keep it permanently on unless I disable it?

    Hi Ben,

Changing the microphone settings are one of the possible ways to resolve the issue. Let's check the sound settings thru Control Panel. Follow the steps below:

    1. Open Control Panel.
    2. Select Hardware and Sound.
    3. Click Sound.
    4. Go to Recording tab.
    5. Right-click your Microphone, then click Properties.
    6. Go to Advanced tab.
    7. Uncheck the Allow applications to take exclusive control of this device.

Get back to us with the outcome so we can help you out further.
