I changed my old laptop and i want to reinstall my Copy of Fligth Simulator X Gold Edition in a new machine. My problem is that when a try to do it the second activation step (the aceleration pack) says me that i have exceeded the number of times i can activate with my product Key. I repeat, i un-installed all the componentes from my old laptop. At this moment it doesn´t exist a laptop running FSX with my activation Code. Nobody knows it. Please i need help. In fact, i've just bought a new paware plane to my simulator.

Have you tried the Registry fix that may just allow the activation to go through?   You can see a recent similar thread here:

i´ve just read and i found the problem is the number of times i've re-installed my FSX. I've done it two times and this is the third attemp. What I do want to take for granted is that i uninstalled it from the old pcs. It doesn't make sense to have installed FSX on an outdated pc.  What can i do? My copy is legal and i just want to reinstall it on ONE pc, the new one.

Thanks for letting us know what you decided to do.   Hope FSX-SE will serve you well.

You are correct that installing FSX on a new computer should remove the activation restrictions placed upon it.  However, if you are getting that message, generally users need to wait three months to be able to then try a re-activation.   Since that is unreasonable, I can only suggest what was discussed in that post (link given above):  whether MS, by phone could cancel that restriction, or try the Registry fix in the hope that might shake it back to life again.

You have been able to activate FSX but having problems with the Acceleration pack.   In your position, I would first try that phone call and then that fix.  If that doesn't work, just use FSX without the Accel. pack and wait the three months.  Or, if you are totally fed up, move over to FSX-Steam Edition where activating FSX is no longer an issue.  Otherwise, in your position, it's difficult to suggest anything else.   BTW, I assume that you have tried activating Accel. with its own key?

    Thanks for answer!

I've just moved to FSX-Steam Edition.
