Windows 7 Wifi icon missing.

Hi,

I recently formatted my system and configured it with the Windows 7 Home edition. I found a weird problem with my bottom task bar.

The space on the right doesn't show network connections(wifi) image even though it is taking the space there. Please help me in fixing this.

Pasted below is the image:

We can see the empty space after sound icon or before date and time.

    It appears that your wireless driver is either installed incorrectly or not yet installed.

    Go to Device manager, uninstall it, then restart to let your system install it again.

    1. Click on the Start globe (bottom left)
    2. type device into the text bar that pops up
    3. Click on Device Manager
    4. Click the tiny arrow on the left of Network adapters
    5. Right-click on the wireless device
    6. Choose uninstall
    7. Restart.

    If you do not see a wireless device in the list of network adapters, you have not yet installed the driver for it.  Go to the support web site for your computer and download, then install the driver.

    Thanks ! It worked.

    I uninstalled the wifi adapter and reinstalled it after restarting the pc. it works fine now. Now I can see all the icons on the tray.
