How do i reduce my disk usage its at 100%???

i open up my computer and the disk usage is at 100% and doesn't decrease..... please help ive even tried resetting my PC and installing all updates and nothing has worked.

    Open Start > Settings > Privacy > Background apps

    Disable all Background apps.

    Disabling Windows Update:

    Press Windows key + R

    Type: services.msc

    Hit Enter

    Scroll down to Windows Update

    Select it then right click it

    Click Properties

    Under the General tab, choose Startup type to DIsabled

    Click Stop

    Click Apply then OK

    Also, check whats starting up with Windows.

    Press Windows key + X

    Click Task Manager

    Click Startup tab

    Disable all except Windows Defender.

    Also, open Start > Settings > Privacy > Background apps and disable all.

    Open Start, type: problem reports

    Hit Enter

    Delete any failed or pending reports.

    Hi Ceara, can you please do the following:

    Open Task Manager - Ctrl +Shift + Esc keys together

    On the Processes Tab, click the header on the Disk Column, so the arrow is facing down

    Then, if needed expand the top few processes, so I can see what is using your hard drive

    Then please take a screenshot ans post it here for us to have a look at . . .

    Also, open Start > Settings > Update & security > Windows Update > Advanced options > Deliver optimization > make sure 'Allow downloads from other PCs' is toggled off.
