Toshiba Laptop Won't Shut Down

I have a Toshiba Sattelite Laptop and after the latest Windows 10 update, every time I go to shut my PC down, I get a message that 'Toshiba Flash Cards are still running and preventing the shutdown' and I have had to click the 'shutdown anyway' (or whatever it says) to be able to turn off PC. Any help would be appreciated.

Hi Juanita, there does seem to be an issue with the latest Windows 10 update and this app . . .

Go to Controla Panel - Programs and Features

Uninstall Toshiba Main Function Keys or Toshiba Flash Cards, whichever one appears in the list of installed applications

    That's It!

    Press Windows key + X

    Click Task Manager

under "startup" tab, find "Toshiba Function Key Main Module", and click to disable.

You can also uninstall it by doing the following:

    Press Windows key + R

    Type: appwiz.cpl

    Hit Enter

Scroll through the list then look for Toshiba Flash Card, select it then click uninstall.
