Hello, I recently did a reset on my Windows 10, Acer Aspire Tc-705-UC52, but after it reset and restarted, it went into an endless loop on the Acer start up screen. How can I fix this? Please help. Thanks.

Im not sure but I do think I had installed Windows 10 Fall Creators Update before I reset my computer. I have disconnected everything unnecessary to my computer. It is still in the boot loop after I disconnected any external devices. Should I leave the ethernet cable connected? Looking foward to your answer and help. Thank you.

    Thank you for your reply.

"Should I leave the ethernet cable connected?" - Yes.

In the meantime, we suggest performing a System Restore to get your computer back to its previous state. To do so, please following the steps below:

    1. Restart your computer for 3 times, to enter the Windows Recovery Environment.
    2. Go to Troubleshoot - Advanced options - System Restore.
    3. Select a restore point to revert to previous state.

Note: Restoring won’t affect your personal files, but it will remove apps, drivers, and updates installed after the restore point was made.

We would appreciate an update about how it went

    Hi Martin,

Here are the possible reasons why you're experiencing a boot loop issue:

    1. Corrupted software/driver
    2. Incomplete/corrupted Windows updates
    3. Hardware failure

For us to better assist you with this, we'd like to know if you've have installed any Windows updates prior to this issue(e.g. Windows 10 Fall Creators Update)?

In the meantime, we suggest unplugging all external devices (if any), then restart your computer.

We're looking forward to your reply.
