Hi !

I've got a problem and it seems that I'm not the only one.

I would like to play to Arma 3 and after few times, my game crash and window says : "Bad_module_info has stopped work"

From what I read about on forums, it seems to be related to new w10 updates (1709 one)

Please help me to fix it because I begin to get really annoyed about.

Thank you for your response. Since the issue started after an update, we recommend that you install all the critical and important Windows Updates by following the steps on this linkto resolve your concern.

If you are still experiencing the same issue, you can reset the Windows Update Components by following the steps on this link.

You can go back to the previous build or Windows Update version. However, you may need to install the critical and important updates again in the future.

If you need further assistance, don't hesitate to reply to this post anytime.

This is not an answer nor a solution. Windows 10 will just wait until you go to sleep and install the same broken updates. This issue is how Windows devs, in their infinite ignorance, decided to play God with graphics which they clearly have no experience using. This problem is directly related to how Windows tries to fake better frame rates when games are at full screen. A problem introduced with the acclaimed better gaming update. Basically, Windows should stick with annoying businesses with apps and let the people that understand gaming and gaming engines worry about how games play on a PC.

But on a side note, where do these robotic, generic "answers" come from? Is there some copy and paste script you are using?

I have been having this same problem for months now.  My computer is a business computer and does not have any games installed on it, so the issue is definitely not dependent on playing a game.  The pop up about "bad_module_info has stopped working" keeps coming up on my screen interrupting my work.  As others have said, the problem started happening after one of the automatic windows updates was installed.

I have the same problem trying to play a game. There are no files in the Minidump. As the OP stated the game crashes, not Windows. To be clear, we are not getting a BSOD or having a crash in windows 10. It seems windows is making the game we are trying to play crash and we get  the "Bad_module_info has stopped working" message and game crashes.

The game I am trying to play is an MMO called Echo of Soul Phoenix. I was able to play the game before the recent Creator update. Game mode appears to be disabled for this game in Windows 10. I am running Windows 10 Home version 1709, build 16299.125.
