Sorry but you did not answer my question
Recent File, How to clear/remove?
Whenever I search from start menu for Notepad this file 'drive.txt' appears in recent but the file no longer exists
After clicking remove from the list it appears again when I search for Notepad again
How can I permanently remove it?

2017-12-18T18:36:08+00:00 Hello Andrew,
It is possible that the Indexing Service did not update, hence the deleted file is still showing in Cortana search. To assist you with your concern, we suggest to rebuild the indexed locations of your computer to resolve the issue. Here's how:
- Hit the Windows key and type Indexing Options in Search and hit Enter.
- In the Indexing Options window, click Advanced.
- Click-on the Rebuild button.
- Once it is done, reboot the computer if necessary.
Note: This process may take a while depending on the files that you have on your computer.
Let us know how it goes.
Regards.
