Hi,
Windows comes with drivers for many devices, such as printers, mouse, keyboard, and displays. A driver is a software that allows your computer to communicate with hardware devices. Installing drivers can be done through Windows Update, or you can install the driver by yourself by visiting your device manufacturer's website. If you already have a network adapter driver installed on your computer, but you're having an issue using it, you can update the network adapter driver to check for a driver version compatible with your system. To do, here's how:
- Press the Windows key + C key.
- In the Search bar, type Device Manager.
- Look for Network adapters, then double-click on it. This will show all the network adapter drivers.
- Right click you network adapter card, then select Properties.
- Go to the Driver tab, then select Update Driver.
If Windows doesn't find a new driver, you can try checking for an updated or compatible driver on your device manufacturer's website.
Feel free to post back if you need further assistance.
