How do you set the backup time in the Windows 10 Settings?

I see where I can set backups to time intervals; however if I set it to daily - I can't see where to choose the time of day/

    Happy to help. File History introduced with Windows 10 has always been buggy-I use Legacy backup too.

    I read the reference tutorial. the way I interpret it, you cannot set time of day with the Windows 10 "settings", you must bring up/run the Windows 7 backup and restore program under the Windows 10 umbrella.

    I am quite willing to do this as I had Windows 7 running on my old computer if it is the only way to control this function. Thanks for the rapid response to my posting above!
