Getting Wake On Lan to Work - Windows 10 and Powerline Setup

Can someone please assist me with getting Wake On Lan to work properly? I'm seeing strange behavior and have exhausted most all topics on this via google searches...

I have been trying to get my computer to Wake On Lan (from a remote location). I've already setup my modem/router combo (**** NVG599) to perform port forwarding on Port 9, and my magic packets are being sent to my public IP. In fact, it will work if I immediately try to wake my device after putting to sleep, but after a few minutes I won't be able to wake it remotely.

I'm using a powerline ethernet adapter hardwired to both the modem/router, and my PC.  As far as the powerline adapters go, I have used the TP-Link software to deactivate the "Sleep Mode" so that the connection should stay up even if my PC is sleeping.

My PC is running Windows 10, and I've already deactivated the "Hybrid Sleep" and "Turn on fast startup" options. I have also used Device Manager to have the following options checked on both my "Intel(R) I211 Gigabit Network Connection" and my "Intel(R) Ethernet Connection (2) 1219-V":

"Allow the computer to turn off this device to save power" (Can't uncheck this and have the next option selected)

"Allow this device to wake the computer" (Gets automatically unchecked if the above option is unchecked)

"Only allow a magic packet to wake the computer"

In the Advanced properties of both these devices I've also enabled the following properties:

"Wake on Magic Packet"

"Wake on Pattern Match"

Please let me know if any other options can be tried or if there is anything else I should be looking into to make this work! Thank you!

Hi Andre - Thank you for your reply! I've actually gone through that whole article before posting, and mentioned in my original post that I've entered in all of those settings. The only difference is that I'm not using the tool "WakeonLAN" utility to wake my desktop because I'm either waking it from a chromebook or over the internet on my phone using Depicus's online wake on lan site: (https://www.depicus.com/wake-on-lan/)

The article you sent suggests that I'm waking a computer using another windows machine where I have that "WakeonLAN" utility installed. The site that I'm using allows me to put in my IP, Port, etc. so that I don't need to have a specific tool and can wake from anywhere using the site alone.

Any other suggestions on options that I need to check? Either on my Windows device configurations or maybe my router?
