We are volunteers willing to help you try to resolve this issue.

Refer to your System/Motherboard Maker's Support, docs, and forums.

    Try this :

    1. Hold down Shift and turn off the system - do not let up until it is all the way off.
    2. Wait a minute or two.
    3. Hold down the Bios entry key (such as F2) and power on the system.

Power down the machine, unplug it, wait 10 minutes.

Reconnect it then boot the machine again then use the command for loading your BIOS.

See commands for your make and model:

Hi Andrew. I'm Greg, a volunteer installation specialist and 8 year Windows MVP, here to help you.

If you have the modern UEFI replacement for BIOS, it may only allow access to BIOS from within WIndows. See all methods to access here: http://www.isunshare.com/windows-password/four-...

In order to access BIOS via it's hotkey at boot, you may also need to turn off Fast Boot in BIOS setup which can cause it to bypass the hotkey trigger.

If this isn't working correctly I'd check for a UEFI firmware update as many changes were made to bring these UEFI BIOS' fully funcitonal in the past seven years.

I hope this helps. Feel free to ask back any questions and let us know how it goes. I will keep working with you until it's resolved.
