Installing Paint Shop Photo Pro x3 on Windows 10 Home.

Hi, I have been on the forum and downloaded and installed 5 patches for PSP Pro.

After following instructions to the letter come to open the programme and all I get is a splash screen with a lady in a blue dress.

Underneath the lady it says "Initializing Command Manager" but nothing else happens and fails to open and run properly.

Can anyone help please.

Roy.

    Hi Roy,

The program that you’re trying to install may have experienced a conflict with the operating system running on your device. To isolate this concern, may we know if you’ve already tried installing program and running it in compatibility mode? If you haven’t done it yet, here are the instructions:

    1. Right-click on the application.
    2. Click Properties.
    3. Click on the Compatibility tab.
    4. Select the Run this program in compatibility mode for option, then choose the operating system that it will run successfully.
    5. Click Apply and OK.

If you’ll get the same result, try to follow these in steps in order:

    1. Download the 5 patches from the developer’s website.
    2. Run the DXSETUP.exe in the CDS\RunTime\DXNov2007 folder.
    3. Run the PSSP installation. Note: Do not launch yet the program.
    4. Install the patches from 1 to 5 in order.
    5. Then, open PSPP X3 and check the result.

We're just here if you need further help.
