I have had this error for the past 2 months and tried everything. I have deleted and redownloaded/ updated most of my drivers, but i have many and dont know if I updated them all. I have tried doing a troubleshoot "Startup Repair" but it just said it could not repair my pc. I dont know what to do next because everytime I do something, it works for 1-2 hours and then just freezes and goes to bsod. Sometimes it goes to bsod through the lock screen.

I found this in an error log

Faulting application name: IntelCpHDCPSvc.exe, version: 1.0.0.1, time stamp: 0x57f81a3e

Faulting package full name:

and this as a warning log

The winlogon notification subscriber <TrustedInstaller> failed a critical notification event

and this

Scoping unsuccessful for shadowcopy \?\GLOBALROOT\Device\HarddiskVolumeShadowCopy3 with error 0x80070057.

Please help me. My computer is very new with pretty high specs so I don't understand why this is happening. I have seen many complaints online about this and how it has something to do with windows 10. Please microsoft fix this.

The information that you posted displayed problems with bugchecks:

    9C

    101

These were displayed as problems devices:

Standard PS/2 Keyboard ACPI\PNP0303\0 This device is not present, is not working properly, or does not have all its drivers installed.

Microsoft PS/2 Mouse ACPI\PNP0F03\0 This device is not present, is not working properly, or does not have all its drivers installed.

    1. Open administrative command prompt and copy and paste this whole command:
    2. First make sure that the default language is English:

    https://www.tenforums.com/tutorials/3813-language-add-remove-change-windows-10-a.html

The command will automatically collect files on the computer and place them on the desktop.

    1. From the desktop use one drive or drop box share links to post into the thread.

It should collect these files:  msinfo32, dxdiag, mini dumps, drivers, hosts, install, uninstall, services, startup, event viewer files, etc.

    1. Open administrative command prompt and copy and paste this whole command:

    copy %SystemRoot%\minidump\*.dmp "%USERPROFILE%\Desktop"&dxdiag /t %Temp%\dxdiag.txt&copy %Temp%\dxdiag.txt "%USERPROFILE%\Desktop\SFdebugFiles"&type %SystemRoot%\System32\drivers\etc\hosts >> "%USERPROFILE%\Desktop\hosts.txt"&systeminfo > "%USERPROFILE%\Desktop\systeminfo.txt"&driverquery /v > "%USERPROFILE%\Desktop\drivers.txt" &msinfo32 /nfo "%USERPROFILE%\Desktop\msinfo32.nfo"&wevtutil qe System /f:text > "%USERPROFILE%\Desktop\eventlog.txt"&reg export HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Uninstall "%USERPROFILE%\Desktop\uninstall.txt"&reg export "HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Active Setup\Installed Components" "%USERPROFILE%\Desktop\installed.txt"&net start > "%USERPROFILE%\Desktop\services.txt"&REM wmic startup list full /format:htable >"%USERPROFILE%\Desktop\startup.html"&wmic STARTUP GET Caption, Command, User >"%USERPROFILE%\Desktop\startup.txt"

    1. There is 1 file for you to find manually:  memory dump file:

    C:\Windows\MEMORY.DMP

Use file explorer > this PC > local C: drive > right upper corner search enter each of the above to find results.

    1. Sometimes the dxdiag file needs to be collected manually:

In left lower corner search type dxdiag > wait 5 minutes for it to load > save to desktop > use share link to post into thread.

    1. Open device manager > click view > show hidden devices  > expand all rows > look for icons with yellow triangles and black exclamation marks > post images into the thread using one drive or drop box share links
    2. Upgrade the BIOS:  https://www.msi.com/Motherboard/support/Z270-TOMAHAWK

    Version

    7A68v14

    Release Date

    2017-11-27

    File Size

    7.37 MB

    Hi,

It may help to look at the minidump files from the blue screen crashes.

Can you zip up the minidump files in the C:\Windows\Minidump folder and make available (provide link) via a public folder on OneDrive or similar site.

Here's a link on using OneDrive:

    http://windows.microsoft.com/en-ca/onedrive/share-file-folder

If you have problems zipping the minidump files copy the minidump files to another location such as a folder on the Desktop

Also, you do not necessarily have to zip up the minidump files, you can upload them one at a time.

This method does not work as my computer crashes before it can even start updating. Windows really needs to fix these things. what a waste of money.

    Hello John Ado,

I do not remember downloading anything large, as the pc is mostly used for games. It only started when I downloaded Black Ops 3 (around 70gb) and whenever I opened the game, it would crash my pc in around 1-2 minutes, causing machine exception error. I do not think it is because my pc overheated as it was pretty cool (30-50). If you need my specifications here they are

ASUS rog strix 1060 6 gb

    i5 7600k

    MSI z270 Tomahawk

16 gb ddr4 ram (could be ram, but I don't know how to check if defective)

    600w power supply

I do not overclock any of these

I will do the repair upgrade when I have the chance and get back to you as soon as possible.

    Thanks,

    Nicholas

    Hi Nicholas,

The blue screen error can be caused by either software or hardware issue. Do you remember any significant changes that have been made to your computer before the issue started? If you have another working computer, prepare the media creation tool and do a repair upgrade. Follow these steps in this Forum Article created by Andre Da Costa.

Let us know how it goes.
