Windows 10 upgraded on my computer. Afterwards my printer will not print right. I think it is the spooler because it only prints every other line?

I don't know how to fix it? I am so sorry I upgraded to windows 10 in the first place. Every time they upgrade I have problems. They are not worth it. I tried to downgrade but was told I could not. Please, how do I fix this problem?

Please try the steps recommended below to uninstall printer software

Press Windows key + X, click Apps & Features or Programs and Features

    Select your Canon printer.

    Select Uninstall.

Press Windows key + R, type control, hit Enter

    Open Devices and Printers.

In the Devices and Printers window look for your Canon Printer. If you see it listed, right-click on it and choose "Delete" or "Remove Device.”

Open up the run command with the "Windows Key + R" key combo.

Type printui.exe /s and click OK.

    Click on Drivers tab.

Look for Canon Printer driver. If you see it click on it and click Remove at the bottom.

    Select OK.

Select Apply and OK on the Print Server Properties windows.

    Close Devices and Printers.

    Proceed to reinstall the driver.

    Try reinstalling the Printer.

    Right-click Start and select Run.

In the Run dialog box, type in control printers and press OK.

Locate your printer in the Printers section, Right click it and select Remove device.

    Restart your PC.

If you have a setup media of the Printer driver(This is usually a CD or Setup program supplied with the Printer), run the utility and let the Printer Install.

If you do not have a setup media, try adding a printer manually using "add a printer" button in the menu bar. It should automatically detect and Install the Printer.

After the Printer Installs, try printing a test page to see if it works as desired.

    Retry the task again.

    Hi Joycemaggard,

Have you tried to reinstall the printer drivers?

Uninstall the printer software from Apps and Features, then download the latest drivers from: https://www.usa.canon.com/internet/portal/us/ho...
