It depends on the version, but I was able to successfully download and install Works 7 on Windows 10 64 bit.
Try downloading Works 9 from the following website and use that:

I am trying to install MS Works on my new computer. We bought three new computers and this will not work on this one. Its windows 10 pro. I read that we could download from the store but works does not come up. Any suggestions?

2017-12-18T17:14:37+00:00 Microsoft Works is very old software that hasn't been sold for years. It's not supported on Windows 10. That doesn't necessarily mean that it won't work at all on Windows 10. It means that Microsoft hasn't tested it on Windows 10 and hasn't continued to keep it up-to-date with all the changes to Windows over the years.
Works may work just fine on your computer, or it may partially work or it may not work at all.
