Internet connection drops (while wifi is still connected and no exclamation mark is shown on the wifi icon)

Ever since the new creators update my internet does very weird things. Apparently randomly it just cuts out, while windows says everything's fine with the internet connection (which is not true since I can't even open a simple website or access anything). There are multiple devices connected to the wifi including my phone and multiple computers and the internet works perfectly on those devices so that is not the problem. I've tried the windows problem diagnosis thingy, which can detect that there is a problem (I ran it when there was no internet) but can't indentify the cause of it (and then asks me to send feedback, which I can't do without internet...). I have searched the web for solutions but every single site seems to tell the same thing: check the drivers wether they are all updated or not or write some commands into cmd and it should magically work (I think reseting some logs or whatever). Neither of them works. I have tried plugging the antenna (which is a TP-Link TL-WN722N by the way) to another USB port, but it does not make the problem disappear.

    Hello,

You might be experiencing this issue because your computer is using an incompatible network adapter driver or WiFi signal interference. To continue troubleshooting this problem, kindly try the steps on the following link: Fix network connection issues in Windows 10.

We recommend that you try the steps on the Roll back the network adapter driver, Temporarily turn off firewalls, Temporarily turn off any antivirus or malware-prevention software, and Use network reset to reinstall network devices sections. In addition, try moving your PC or laptop closer to the router or access point if you can.

Let us know how it goes for us to assist you further.

Go Device Manager, Network adapter, Power Management, uncheck Allow the computer to turn off this device to save power
