Can't find SD Card Reader in Device Manager

I think the system updated recently, a pretty big update since it took some time and had to restart one or two times. Anyway, I haven't used the build-in SD card reader for maybe one month. I tried today and it had no reaction, so I looked up some forums. It seems that in my Device Manager there's not even a SC card reader device available.

PS: Solved the problem.

I went into the system Services and manually started the Smart Card and Smart Card Device Enumeration services. Voila~

    Hi FriedMouse,

I'm having the same problem. I just tried going into the Services application and manually starting the Smart Card and Smart Card Device..., but the SD card is still not recognized and there is still no SD card reader driver listed in Device Manager.

    Anyone have a solution?
