How to reset Windows from command prompt

Hi

My Windows 10 issues started after a recent update. I was unable to connect to the internet so I did a restore. After that, everything started going wrong. I'm unable to run most programs and I can't open Windows settings to try a reset. This is the same in safe mode.

I can restart in safe mode with command prompt but I don't know how to run the reset from there. Does anyone know the command? I know that rstrui.exe runs the system restore dialogue, but I need the one to reinstall Windows.

Thanks in advance!

Start your PC, just as Windows attempts to load (spinning dots), press and hold Power Button for 5 - 10 seconds to perform a Hard Shut Down

    Do this twice

On the third start Windows will boot into the Recovery Environment and from there you can access System Repair, Safe Mode, Command Prompt . . . etc.

Ggo to Troubleshoot - Advanced Options - Reset this PC

Choose to keep your files and apps, just your files or to keep nothing

    Then start the Reset

Well, technically, you could try the following:

Power on and off your computer three times

On the third time, your computer will boot into the Advanced Recovery environment

    Click Advanced Options

    Click Troubleshoot

    Click Advanced Options

    Click Command Prompt:

At the command prompt, type: FORMAT C:/

    Hit Enter on your keyboard

    Type Y for Yes

    Hit Enter

Wait while the drive is formatted.

Type EXIT to close the prompt and click shut down to turn off the computer.

Thanks for the help so far. The recovery environment just gives me a message saying: "Your pc/device needs to be repaired.

A required device isn't connected or can't be accessed.

    Error code 0xc0000225.

You'll need to use recovery tools. If you don't have any installation media (like a disc or USB device), contact your PC administrator or manufacturer."

    Any ideas?
