Xbox 360 emulation, and how to do it legally

Another question answered by someone from Microsoft stated that emulation is only illegal when you illegally take the rom/iso, and that it is legal to emulate it as long as you own the copy.

That being said, is there any way to play Xbox 360 games on the computer without an emulator on Windows 10?

If not, how could I manage to legally emulate the game?

    Hi Andrew,

    To give you an idea, not all Xbox games are playable in Windows 10. Regarding your concern, you can only play Xbox 360 games to Xbox One console as long as they are backwards compatible. Since this feature is only available to Xbox One, it is not applicable when trying to play Xbox 360 games for Windows 10. However, this is being requested by most of our valued Xbox customers and we're looking forward to have it in the upcoming updates in Windows 10.     Hi,

    For you to install an Xbox 360 game, you need to download it from Microsoft Store or install it from an original CD.

    I understand this, but will the game run fine without any sort of emulator if I try to play an Xbox 360 game on PC?
