How do I update my flash player.

Download the latest version from Adobe and install it.... Although there are few Web Browsers you need to do that for.

What makes you think you NEED to update Adobe Flash Player?

I was trying to open an app and it came up on the screen it needed to update it.

You could do it JUST for that page:

The site asks to download Flash

1. To the left of the web address, click Lock  or Info .
2. To the right of "Flash," click the Arrows .
3. Choose Always allow on this site.
4. Reload the page.

To update Flash Player within Google Chrome:

3. Look for "Adobe Flash Player."
4. Click Check for update.
5. If you see "Component not updated" or "Component updated," you're on the latest version.

However, in general, if you are running Google Chrome and have enabled flash player for the site, that is about all you can do...  As Flasher Player is integrated INTO Google Chrome, not a separate plugin.

Oh, sorry!  I have a HP laptop that runs Windows 10 and I use Google Chrome for almost everything.  I was trying to use the Better Homes and Gardens furniture layout program.  As soon as I get in that is where it says I need to update the flash player.  I am not very tech savvy.  Thanks for the help!

What specific web page is informing you of the necessity of this update?
