Hello,
Since I upgraded to 1709 (falls Creator update) I lost the "switch user" option after pressing "ctrl alt del" on all my computers. Is there anyway to get this option back or do I have to use the win+L process which is at least two steps longer? Thank you in advance for your support.

Sorry for you frustrations.
Did you try the registry change as well?
Use the Windows key + R keyboard shortcut to open the Run command.
Type regedit, and click OK to open the Registry.
Browse the following path:
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Policies\System
Right-click on the right side of System, select New and click on DWORD (32-bit) Value.
Name the key HideFastSwitching and press Enter.
Double-click the newly created DWORD and set the value from 0 to 1.
Click OK
Reboot your machine and see if it works.
Lucky you sarah still having the switch user option in 1709...I tried the 3 options in the "Hide entry points for Fast User Switching" . If enabled, nothing happens except my other user account is hidden after pressing Win+L. and the other 2 options don't give me back my switch user after pressing ctrl alt del... Switching user from the start menu does log off the current session... Thanks for your support, I really appreciate it.
Are you using Windows 10 within an organization?
Are you connected to a domain?
Thank you for this reply but this method logs off the session before switching to the other user. I like the fast user switching option which leaves both accounts opened on the computer. A quick "ctrl alt del" used to take you directly to the option "switch user" Why did Microsoft take this option off in 1709?
