Logitech K330/M215 wireless combo not working.

Have tried all the obvious to find the problem (updated drivers, replaced batteries, uninstalled, reinstalled, restarted computer a number of times) all to no avail.

Computer recognises both the keyboard and the mouse and indicates "device working properly".

Any suggestions on what else I can try?

Thank you.

Here are some general troubleshooting tips you can try:

    Check Your Surface Type

If you're having intermittent trouble with your mouse, make sure you're using it on a smooth, flat surface that is not shiny or reflective. We recommend using a mousepad to create a consistent work surface.

Resync Your Devices with the USB Receiver

Your keyboard and mouse work by sending wireless signals to a USB receiver that came with your setup. This might be a small hub that plugs into a USB port with a wire, a small dongle similar in size and shape to a thumb drive, or a very tiny unit that is barely visible once you slide it into a USB port. Sometimes the receiver gets out of sync with the wireless devices, causing them to stop working.

Resyncing the setup is fairly easy. There is usually a Connect button somewhere on the USB receiver. Press that, and a light on the receiver should start flashing. Then press the Connect button on the keyboard and/or mouse and the flashing light on the USB receiver should stop. Your receiver is now synced with the keyboard and/or mouse.

If your receiver does not have a Connect button, refer to the directions that came with your mouse or keyboard to find more specific instructions for reconnecting your devices.

If you continue to have trouble with your devices, you may want to try connecting the receiver to another USB port on your computer. It might take a minute or two for your computer to recognize a device plugged into a USB port.

Test Your Devices on Another Computer

It's possible there's an issue with one of your devices. To find out if this is the case, connect your devices to a different computer to see if you encounter the same issues.

    Update Drivers

If you are working on a Windows machine, make sure you are using the latest drivers and software for your device. Device drivers and software should be available from the manufacturer's website.

    Hello Bill,

The last tow days i had the same problem, and i tried the same solutions that you already tried, but nothing was working.

luckily, my brother "computer engineer" helped me to try something farther

    So here what we did:

first we were sure to remove the USB port then:

right click on "my computer" - "manage" - "device manager" then "mouse" right click on mouse and uninstall, when you chose to uninstall you will see a window of confirmation in which u have to chose to also uninstall the device.

when you finish this step you will no more see a mouse icon.

you leave this window open then go to

     http://support.logitech.com/en\_roeu/product/wireless-combo-mk320/downloads

and you download the full installer of "SetPoint"

now you can re put the USB port in its place.

when this is done, you go back to the "my computer" - "manage" - "device manager" now you will see the mouse icon again and you can try the mouse and the keyboard.

Hope that will work for you if you haven't already found the solution.

    BEST REGARDS

Hi Bill. I'm Greg, a volunteer installation specialist and 8 year Windows MVP, here to help you.

    Try another USB port.

Run the Keyboard Troubleshooter at Settings>Update & Security>Troubleshoot.

Right click Start to open Device Manager, uninstall the keyboard, mouse and all USB Enhanced Controllers one-at-a-time by right clicking each to Uninstall, then restart PC by temporarily programming Start button to Shutdown in Settings > System > Power and Sleep > Additional Power Settings > Choose What Power Buttons Do.

Does the combo work in another PC?

Does it register by name in Device Manager, Start > Settings > Devices, or Control Panel > Devices and Printers? Right click there to Troubleshoot.

I hope this helps. Feel free to ask back any questions and let us know how it goes. I will keep working with you until it's resolved.
