We appreciate the additional information. Since Windows Explorer isn't available on the list, we suggest resetting the default apps to a Microsoft recommended defaults and see if it helps. Follow the steps below:

    1. Open Settings.
    2. Click Apps, then Default apps in the left pane.
    3. Click Reset.

If the issue still persists after resetting the default app, we recommend creating a new user account to help resolve the issue. Click this **article**for reference on how to create a new local user account.

Get back to us with the outcome so we can help you further.

    Hi,

Changes to the default app when opening the temp folder is one of the possible reasons why this issue is happening. We recommend locating Windows Explorer on the file selection, then click OK.

Keep us in the loop with the result.
