I found this which might have, I downloaded it and it seemed to work for me
(I hope it's okay me posting a link to another site, first time I've actually been able to attempt to help someone or reply to a thread)

The first time I plugged it in to a usb port, it automatically checked if it was compatible with the Xbox One driver but it didn't do or say anything else and it didn't pop up in the file explorer. Every time I plugged it in again the same thing happened except it didn't check if it was compatible with the Xbox One driver.
I checked in devices and printers in the control panel the controller was in the unspecified section. I looked at it's properties and it said Driver Not Available, Needs Troubleshooting in Status. So I did and it said that it couldn't find a driver for this device.
The name of the controller is Xbox ONE Pro Ex controller, any suggestions or drivers would help. Unless they just don't work on pc. Or I am posting this in the wrong section.

Hi,
Thank you for posting your query on Microsoft Community.
As per the description, I understand that you are facing issues with XBOX drivers.
This might have occurred due to hardware conflicts.
Run the Hardware Devices troubleshooter.
An automated troubleshooter is a tool that can find and automatically fix some problems with your computer. These troubleshooters aren't designed to fix every problem, but they're a useful tool to try because they can often save your time and effort.
a) Press “Windows Logo” + “W” keys from the keyboard.
b) Type “Troubleshooting” in the search bar and press “Enter”.
c) In the “Troubleshooting” window, click on “View All” on the left pane.
d) Click on “Hardware and Devices"
f) Click “Next” and follow the on-screen instructions to complete the troubleshooting process.

Sorry it took me so long to respond but I have tried what you have recommended but there are 2 problems found when I do so.
First one is
| Xbox ONE Pro Ex controller doesn't have a driver | Not fixed |
|---|
The second one is
| Hardware changes might not have been detected | Detected |
|---|
So I think the problem is that there is no driver for wired controllers and just if you wanted to know this is what it looks like.
Thank you for helping though. :]
well i find this and it worked for me on windows 7

u only gotta install and thats it
I had the same issue with my controller. I had to use an older broken xbox one controller to have the driver installed correctly, then switched over to the new controller and it works.
