The Device Manager is based on the Microsoft Management Console, so I don't think the Start menu troubleshooter would really help fix that.

    See if this helps:

    https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/help/914231...

    or

    Open Start, type: CMD

    Right click CMD

    Click Run as administrator

Type in at the prompt OR Copy and Paste these one at a time : (Hit enter after each)

    Dism /Online /Cleanup-Image /CheckHealth

    Dism /Online /Cleanup-Image /ScanHealth

    Dism /Online /Cleanup-Image /RestoreHealth

Also run the System File Checker utility:

    Open Start, type: CMD

    Right click CMD

    Click Run as administrator

At the Command Prompt, type: sfc/scannow

This will check for any integrity violations

    Restart your system

If that does not work, try performing a repair upgrade:

Hey Antonio. I'm Greg, a volunteer installation specialist and 8 year Windows MVP, here to help you.

Run the Start Menu troubleshooter: http://www.thewindowsclub.com/windows-10-start-...

Then if necessary go over this checklist to make sure the install is set up correctly, optimized for best performance, and any needed repairs get done: http://answers.microsoft.com/en-us/windows/wiki...

If any steps cannot be performed normally then try them in Safe Mode with Networking: https://www.digitalcitizen.life/4-ways-boot-saf...

I hope this helps. Feel free to ask back any questions and let us know how it goes. I will keep working with you until it's resolved.

I'm sorry but where do I download the Start Menu Troubleshooter? I can't find it anywhere to download it
