Need to install old CanoScan Scanner on Windows 10

I have new Lenovo with Windows 10 Home. Tried to install old software for Scanner, CanoScan N670U. Got the twain driver and thought Iinstalled software but Windows cannot add/find the device.  Please help me to install scanner. Thanks.

    There has not been a full driver set for your device since Windows XP.  You might want to try the latest driver(s) available by right-clicking on the installation file and selecting "Troubleshoot compatibility."   It probably won't work.   There's VueScan, which isn't free but has given new life to many old scanners.

    Hi Jim, Thanks for the advice. tried the troubleshooting. Youre right, it didn't work.

    Maybe I will try the VueScan. 

    Another question: on same device: Will I be able to upload AND USE on this computer my Software for Canon PowerShot Camera ver. 82.0 from the software disk(2012)?

    You certainly can't "upload" anything from the disk to your computer, but you might be able to install the software.  You won't know until you try it.
