Issues like this are usually due to faulty drivers. In this case, I would suggest that you update the display driver. There are two ways that you can do so:
METHOD 1 - Install a generic version of the display driver.
- Go to Device Manager. (Windows key + X > Device Manager)
- Expand Display adapters.
- Right-click on the display driver, and then select Uninstall.
- Restart your PC. The system will automatically reinstall a generic driver.
METHOD 2 - Download and install the display adapter from the manufacturer's website.
- Go to Device Manager. (Windows key + X > Device Manager)
- Expand Display adapters.
- Right-click on the display driver, and then select Uninstall.
- Visit the PC manufacturer's website, and then download the display adapter that's specifically for your device.
- Run the downloaded file to install the driver.
