Can't see a lot of text on websites.

I don't think this is a browser issue because I have tried chrome, firefox and internet explorer. On many websites the majority of text is invisible and the only way I have read it is to copy and paste it into a document. I can select the text to copy but it is invisible. I often have this issue with typing into forms, the text is there but I can't see it.

We appreciate the information that you've provided, Sarah. Just to ask, does it only happen on the device that you're using? The advised to check the browser size is a way for us to make sure that this is not a browser issue or for us to further isolate the issue that you are experiencing.

In the meantime, we recommend to run the System File Checker or SFC as an initial troubleshooting procedure. This is a utility tool built into your operating system to check any corrupted or missing system files. We also suggest that you also scan your files using any antivirus program if there's any virus that is affecting the performance of your device.

Let us know how it goes and feel free to get back to us if you need further assistance.

    Hi Sarah,

It could be the website that you're trying to access has issues or there's something on your connection or device that's blocking you to access them. We would like to ask for additional information. Please provide the following:

    • Were there any changes made on your computer or browsers prior to the issue?
    • Can you please provide us with a screenshot of what you're seeing when you're accessing those websites? You may refer to this linkon how to include a screenshot in your post.
    • Can you also tell us what troubleshooting steps you have done so far?

Furthermore, we suggest that you check the browser size if you may able to adjust it. Do a long press on Ctrl key on your keyboard and use the external mouse wheel to adjust the size.

Looking forward to the requested information and the results of the recommended troubleshooting steps.

It's not the website because it's many websites but some websites work fine. I also sometimes have this issue with html emails.  I can select the text but it is invisible, it looks like white text on a white background (or gray on gray, black on black, etc.). But I know it's not the website because these are professional well known businesses and the issue happens far too often. As far as I know there were no changes made before this issue started happening.

The only troubleshooting steps I have taken are trying different browsers and updating them. I don't think it has anything to do with browser size.

I tried attaching a screen capture but that's not working, I hit upload and nothing happens.
